As we wind down Q2 this year, entering a new quarter presents an opportunity for us to revisit training site management on how to properly conduct preventative maintenance. Historically, we have left this to DM’s & Trainers to handle and they;ve done well. However, in this case I want to shift this responsibility from them to the Maintenance Department going forward. Additionally, only site management will conduct PMs for their respective locations.

Basically, this back-training will consolidate the SOP into a two-week period. Either myself or Ryan will lead the initial group training where we will review the SOP and complete the PMs. The following week, one of us will shadow the site management group as they complete the PM and conduct the Blind PM audit. At the end of this period everyone present would then be certified and would resume completing PMs at their sites from that point forward. We will determine the meeting sites later, but I want each district to gather at 1 location each week for 1-1.5 hours after closing to avoid rushing and making sure the site is open for the day.
Once back-training is complete, this program will be for newly hired or promoted site management and will take place within the standard 60 day period.
